If you are running the Triple Option Offense and want to be considered a genius, there are two things that you must do with your Triple Option Offense:

1- The offense must be simple.

2- The offense must solve a real problem.

For those who believe that counters and zone runs are what make the Triple Option go, this is an incorrect assumption.

The fundamental disconnect is that you are having trouble blocking defensive linemen, and the Triple Option allows you to get on the second level of the defense without blocking Playside Defensive Linemen.

Keep the Triple Option Offense simple by running more Triple Option.
