If you ran 648 offensive plays at the high school level, you would’ve played a 14-game season as the national high school average is 48 Offensive plays run/game.
This is the reality of what we do at your Triple Option Football Academy Camp.
At our last camp, the Triple Option, Zone Option, Triple Pass, Paul Johnson’s 60/70 Series, Zone Dive, Heavy Package, Rocket Toss, and Midline Lead were run a combined total of 648 times.
Players and coaches are taught the proper installation sequence and the priorities of each concept so they can learn fast and play right away. Coaches learn the exact reason why each concept is playcalled as done by Army, Navy, and Kennesaw. Situational Football is the cornerstone of Dr. Cella’s Cognitive-Based Psychodynamic approach.
Camps have already occurred in two time zones, and next week, Dr. Cella heads to his third time zone to install the triple option offense the right way the first time. Somebody asked me today about the future of the Flexbone Offense.
Army just finished #19 in the country after winning 11 games for the first time EVER. Army has been playing football since 1891 and they do not give out athletic scholarships.
Kennesaw State just finished #4 in the country. They’ve had the sport of football for four years.
Lenoir-Rhyne went from 3 wins (2017), installed the Flexbone in 2018, and won 12 games in 2018. This nine-game swing was the greatest turnaround in all of Division-2.
Answer: The future looks awesome. Stay tuned for more success in 2019. —Dr. Cella

In 2018, Pamlico County went to the North Carolina Class 1A State Championship Game with 31 players on the team, 12 of which were freshmen. They scored 638 points and averaged 43 points/game. Four days after the game, Torrey was named Head Football Coach at New Bern High School (NC), a 4A school.
“The Triple Option Academy was huge for us as a program here at Pamlico County High School. Teams that thrive at the 1A level run system based offenses and that’s what the Triple Option Academy gave us. Dr. Cella came out and worked with my players and myself. Dr. Cella helped put the system in place for us while we were in our spring football period. Offensively we went from scoring a total of 108 points in 2016 to scoring 508 points in 2017. The Triple Option Academy played a huge role in points scored for us. I am super excited to see what the future has in store for us in the second season of running this new offense.”
— Torrey Nowell, Head Football Coach, after his 2017 season.
