Blocking and perfect ball security are the core fundamentals of the Triple Option Offense.
Here’s what’s required from a blocking standpoint:
B-Backs- Zone Path, Sprint Pass Protection, and Vert Pass Protection
A-Backs- #3, Twirl #3, Load, Fan, Pitch-Kick, and Gate
Receivers- Near Deep Defender, and Cutoff
Centers- Veer, Ace, Scoop, Down, Slide, Base, Gate
Guards- Base, Ace, Scoop, Veer, Slide, Deucecom, Down, Superscoop, Gate
Tackles- Veer, Base, Scoop, Fan, Slide, Deucecom, Superscoop, Gate
