Triple Option Offensive Line Blocking versus 4-4

Triple Option Offensive Line Blocking versus 4-4

The Offensive Line has three focuses when blocking for the Triple Option versus the 4-4.

1- Vertically moving Ace block on the A-gap defender by the Center and Playside Guard.

2- A veer release by the Playside Tackle that is vertical and wins the outside breastplate of the Will Linebacker.

3- Two scoops that eliminate lateral and vertical penetration on the backside.

Here is how the Offensive Line blocks the Triple versus the 4-4:

This tells the Playside Tackle to veer inside and veer through the outside breastplate of the Will.
