The Triple Option has been around since 1965 when Bill Yeoman installed the Split-Back Veer with the University of Houston.

Fifty-plus seasons later, the Under-Center Triple Option is still going strong.

Army, Navy, Georgia Tech, and Georgia Southern ran the Under-Center Triple Option as their Offense in 2013.
