The Center’s Seven Blocks in the Triple Option Offense

In the Triple Option Offense, the Center has seven blocks that he must master.
These seven blocks are the following:
1-
Centers Veers past the 0-technique on Triple while Backside Guard Scoops the 0 technique on Triple Option.
2-
Center’s Ace versus 2i.
3-
Zone Option versus Split 4-4. (Triple Option Football Academy). Here the Center scoops the shade.
4-
Counter Option Offensive Line Blocking versus the Odd Stack (3-3, 3-5-3, 5-3). Here, the Center bases the 0-technique.
5-
Counter Option Right v. 4-4 (Split) Defense. Here, the Center blocks down because there is no 0-technique to base.
6-
Sprint Right v. Split. Here, the Center steps playside to widen the pocket for the Quarterback and then hinges backside.
