The Triple Option versus the Okie Dog Pinch

Defenses will utilize the Okie Dog Pinch in an effort to make the Quarterback pitch the ball on the Triple Option.
This is what they will do, and what the Triple Option Offense does to thwart this.
Bear Bryant’s Okie Dog Pinch. #1 takes the Dive; #2 takes the Quarterback; Inside Linebacker runs over the top at the snap to take the pitch.
This was designed by the “Bear” to create a 3-on-3 versus the Triple Option.
