On “Bust,” the Quarterback takes his first two steps as he is running Triple to the left. The B-Back will run his dive path to the right, making this look like a “busted” play.
Then, the Quarterback will step with his playside foot and follow the B-Back up the hole.
By the Quarterback “incorrectly” opening away from the B-Back, this looks like a “busted” play and a false key for the defense.

Dr. Cella possesses four degrees with an A.S. in Education, a B.S. in English, a M.Ed in Information Technology, and a Psy.D in Psychology, Sport Performance Psychology.
