When you’re in a short yardage/goal-line situation, do the following:

1- Align in the Heavy Formation

The Heavy formation is utilized on the goal-line to create the extra gap. Additionally, Heavy is utilized to create the extra gap versus 0-technique/1 high safety defenses.

2- Run Follow to get the extra blocker at the point of attack.

Heavy Follow versus 6-2. PR- Deep Defender PA- 3 PT- Base PG- Base to Ace C- Veer to Ace BG/BT- Scoop BA- Pitch Q- Follow Steps B- Veer Path

Heavy Follow versus 6-2.
PR- Deep Defender

PG- Base to Ace
C- Veer to Ace
BG/BT- Scoop
BA- Pitch
Q- Follow Steps
B- Veer Path

3- If the A and B-gaps are plugged, Toss the ball outside.
