On Triple Option, the Playside Receiver is responsible for the Deep Defender, which is the defender who drops over the top of the Receiver when the Receiver sprints off the ball.

The Playside A has #3 which is the run support player.

Here are the different situations that must get practiced in order to prepare for competition.

BLOCKING 3 ON TRIPLE- SKY

BLOCKING 3 ON TRIPLE- SKY–Drop-Cross-Run- and Trap #3 on his side of the line of scrimmage.

 

BLOCKING 3 ON TRIPLE- CLOUD

BLOCKING 3 ON TRIPLE- CLOUD 

 

Drop-Cross-Run- and Trap #3 on his side of the line of scrimmage.

BLOCKING 3 ON TRIPLE- OVERHANGDrop-Cross-Run the circle-punch the inside hand to the playside stomach and pound arches through echo of whistle.
Load Scheme. If #1 comes upfield, the Playside A goes right to the Free Safety.Load scheme.  When #1 cancels B-Back, Playside A cancels Mike Linebacker.Load situations on Triple with Playside Tackle and A-Back.  If the Mike runs over the top, the Playside A blocks the Mike and the Tackle blocks #3.  This all happens via agile learning.
