The Double Flex formation is best utilized to create better angles to run Rocket.

Rocket is run  when the inside linebacker blitzes inside to stop the dive phase of the Triple/Midline.

Double Flex brings the Receivers within two yards of the Playside A-back.  The Receiver put their outside foot upward.  This helps them BLAST the first inside defender.

Double Flex, Rocket Blast is utilized to maximize success of the Rocket versus the Blitz.

Here, the Receiver blocks the first inside defender (in the diagram this is the 5-technique).

The Playside A-Back, Tackle, and Guard dominate the alley.
