The Secret to Army West Point’s Triple Option Offensive Success in 2018: Part Two

Through the first six weeks of 2018, Army does the following:

• Averages 76 plays/game.
• Runs the football 87% of the time.
• Averages 66 runs/game.
• 76% of Army’s yards gained is through the running game.
• 24% of Army’s yards gained is through the passing game.
• Averages almost five yards/rush (4.8).
• Zone Option, Zone Dive, Triple Option, and Zone Belly are 45 plays/game for the Army Offense.  Keep in mind, the average high school football offense averages 48 plays/game.
