Navy’s #2 Concept of 2015: Zone Option (Illustrated vs. 4-3 Defense)

Navy’s #2 concept of 2015 was the Zone Option (#1 was obviously the Triple Option).  They utilize the Zone Option when the defense forces the give read on the Triple Option.  When the defense forces the Triple Option Offense to go inside, the Triple Option Offense must go OUTSIDE.  The Zone Option is a great way to do this, and this was a huge part of Navy’s best season in 53 years.
