The Triple Option Offensive Line plays nearly 50 percent of the role in the offensive process. We need them to lead our football program.
Here is the process on how Triple Option Offensive Linemen can lead your football program.
1- Positive self-life.
Speak to players in a positive, but non-enabling tone.
2- Work through adverse defenses.
Make the players figure things out on their own. At some point, you, the coach, have to turn things over to the Offensive Line.
3- Persevere through bad practices.
Know when you’re having a bad practice, and challenge them to overcome this during the same practice.
4- Invest in the blocks.
Focus on getting players to demonstrate great finishes on scoops, veer releases, aces, etc.
5- Deliberate effort.
Allow players to show you how hard they are working on a base block or in slide protection.
