When running the Triple Option versus the Odd Stack, Heavy is a great formation in which to align.

The Heavy formation creates an extra gap and puts pressure on this defense because it’s an Odd front.

Here are the rules on Triple Option

Playside Receiver- Near Deep Defender

Playside A- #3

Playside Tackle- Veer (Outside UNLESS Ace call)

Playside Guard– Base to Ace (versus 1, 2i, or 2)

Center- Veer to Ace (versus 1, 2i, or 2)

Backside Guard/Tackle- Scoop

Backside A- Pitch

Backside Receiver- Cutoff

Quarterback- Veer #1, Pitch #2

B- Veer path, Bend behind action key
