Building Teamwork in the Triple Option Starts when All 11 Players Dominate their Assignment

Teamwork is simultaneous domination.  When all 11 players simultaneously dominate their assignment, this is the true concept of teamwork.

There are three keys to domination within the Triple Option.  They are the following:

1- Programming

The coaching staff has a process-based systematic action plan.

2- Simplicity

There must be overemphasis of blocking, ball security, and the movement exercises designed to get there and an under emphasis of everything else.

3- Consistency

If it’s important–do it everyday.  This means that blocking, ball security, and the specific Triple Option movement paths must be practiced EVERY DAY.

This is how teamwork is built in the Triple Option Offense.
