As a head high school football coach considering the Triple Option Football Academy and Camps, here are answers to the following questions:

What do my players and coaches learn at the camp?

Players and coaches learn to playcall, install, practice, and master the current core offense utilized by Army and Air Force.

Where are Triple Option Football Academy Camps held?

Your school with you, your players, your coaches, and Dr. Cella.

How many days are Triple Option Football Academy Camps?

The camp is a 3-day event; however, they can be done in one or two days at your request.

What is the daily schedule of the Triple Option Football Academy Camp?

Zone Dive and Follow (Day 1)

Kick, Midline Triple Option, and Down (Day 2)

Rocket Toss, Passing Game, and Situational Football (Day 3)

Up to three groups can simultaneously participate. Each day concludes with a Q&A session with Dr. Lou Cella and the coaching staff.

By the end of camp day 3, these three groups execute 720 plays in under seven hours.

Do I receive a consultation for my coaches at the camp?

Yes, a Q&A session occurs at the end of each camp day. Additionally, you gain access to the Triple Option Football Academy for the entire off-season, providing resources to effectively implement the offense. Dr. Cella also offers 24/7 on-call support for the next two years.

When do you run the camps?

Camps are available year-round, though 99% occur in May, June, July, and August.

How much is the Triple Option Football Academy?

The Academy is priced at $997.

How much is the Triple Option Football Academy In-Person Camp?

The In-Person Camp costs $2,997, which includes access to the Academy.

In the Central/Mountain Time Zones, South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia, the cost is $3,997.

In the Pacific Time Zone, the cost is $4,997.

Are there any additional costs associated with the Academy or In-Person Camp?

No, there are no additional costs beyond the stated fees.

When is the camp payment due?

Camp payments are due at least 30 days before the camp date.

Are camps and academies separate for 8-man and 9-man football?

Yes- we have distinctly-run camps for all three levels, an 8-Man Triple Option Football Academy, and a 9-Man Triple Option Football Academy.

Can I pay for the Academy first and then pay for the camp later?

Yes, as long as the camp occurs within nine months of the Academy payment.

Can I really get all this for such a low investment?

Yes, clients across 46 states, the District of Columbia, 2 Canadian provinces, and several D2, D3, NAIA, JUCO, and Prep School programs, have benefited from these offerings.

Can I get started right now?

Yes, you can begin the Academy immediately upon receipt of payment.

What is the preferred payment method?

Venmo is preferred. Credit/debit cards and checks are accepted for those without Venmo.

How long have you been doing all this?

Dr. Lou Cella began educating players on the Triple Option Offense in the 1990s, expanded to coaching education in the early 2000s, started running camps in 2010, and established The Academy in 2013.

Who runs the Academy and the Camps?

Dr. Lou Cella, a Sport and Performance Psychologist, personally conducts both the Academy and all camps.

Is the Academy all online?

Yes, the Academy is entirely online, providing access to the 2025 3-Step Clinic and over 100 hours of drill, camp, game, and past installation clinic videos.
