The Rocket Toss is utilized when the Playside Inside Linebacker blitzes to blow up the dive phase of the Triple Option.  This gets the ball outside where nobody until the 3rd level can make the tackle.

The Rocket Toss tremendously constrains the Playside Inside Linebacker, and is executed with the following rules:

Playside Receiver- Near Deep Defender

Playside A- #3

Playside Tackle and Guard- Superscoop

Center, Backside Guard, and Backside Tackle- Scoop

Backside A- Rocket Path

Backside Receiver- Cutoff

Quarterback- Rocket Steps

B- Veer Away Path
