American Football Sports Science-Mental Conditioning Academy (AFSSMCA, LLC) and Triple Option Football Academy Owner, Lou Cella, is an 18-year coaching veteran of the college and high school level.

As former owner of the highly-successful Flexbone Association from 2010-2013, Lou assisted in the turnaround of numerous high school football programs through his Flexbone Association Football Camp system. Bayfield (CO), Falls City (TX), Johnson (NJ), Lakewood (SC), Petaluma (CA), Piedra Vista (NM), Poland (ME), Riverwood (GA), San Benito (CA), Temple City (CA), and Timmonsville (SC) posted drastic turnarounds just months after Lou served as their camp director.

Lou is completing his Doctor of Psychology, Sports and Performance Psychology Specialization from the University of the Rockies. He is currently completing his dissertation entitled “Utilizing the Pareto Principle to Improve Football Coaching Performance.”

Camp FAQ’s

Question: What is done with my players and assistant coaches at our Triple Option Football Academy Camp?

Answer: Over a three-day period, we teach you, your players, and your coaches the Division-1 Flexbone Triple Option way using the Triple Option Football Academy Installation and Execution Plan.  You learn the offense just as Navy and Georgia Tech’s players learn the offense.  We teach you, your players, and your coaches the cadence, Spread formation, count system, the triple option, and go from there.  At camps, we install and execute the authentic and all-encompassing Midline Option, Triple Option Pass, Zone Option, Counter Option, Rocket Toss, tags, and the necessary pass concepts to create big plays for years to come.  By the end of camp, we will be reviewing concepts with which your players to ensure when you go to training camp, you are in mid-season form or better.

Question: What is the daily practice schedule of Triple Option Football Academy Camps?

Answer: Monday- 6-9PM with Q & A period after

Tuesday- 6-9PM with Q & A period  before and after

Wednesday- 8-11AM
