Eliminating Unnecessary Concepts from your Triple Option Offense

Eliminating Unnecessary Concepts from your Triple Option Offense

Time-tested and infallible rule: Subtract the number of different plays utilized in the game from the total number of plays you practiced.

If this number is too large, get rid of some plays.

Keep in mind the following: Knowing when to run off-tackle is tough, and if you have four different answers, this gets tougher.

Have one answer to when #1 cancels your B-Back.

Have one answer to when #1 cancels your Quarterback.

Have one answer to constrain the safety, the corner, and the backside when they fly to the Triple Option.

Now, you have yourself a Triple Option Offense.
