When the Outside Linebacker is keying the A-Back on the Triple Option, Paul Johnson has the Playside A-Back and Playside Receiver swap assignments.

Here, the Playside Receiver blocks #3 and the Playside A blocks the Deep Defender. Since the Outside Linebacker is running with the Playside A, there is no one from the defense cancelling the Quarterback on a pull read.
