Veering the Playside Tackle on Rocket

Triple Option Football Academy

A modern-day practice is to veer the Playside Tackle on Rocket.

This ties up #1 with the Playside Tackle and prevents #1 from stepping with his playside foot and taking the angle to make the tackle on the Backside A-Back.

In addition, this gives the Playside Guard time to get around the Tackle and block the alley defender.
