Although they only ran this concept 16 times in 14 games the Down (also known as Belly G) averaged 10.4 yards per play for Navy in 2016.

In Heavy, the Left Receiver moves into the Left Tackle spot while the Left Tackle becomes the Heavy Tackle to the call side.

Navy likes to run the Down when they know the A and B-gaps are plugged and they cannot run the Follow.

Often, Navy tosses the ball to the outside; however, their second option is to run the Down.
