Running the Triple Option with the Junior High and Feeder Program

This is a common situation where coaches wonder if they can run the Triple Option Offense with elementary and middle school age students.
The answer is YES– When Dr. Cella ran a camp with Bayfield High School in Colorado, their SECOND GRADERS were running Triple Option… yes SECOND GRADERS.
Last year Dr. Cella ran a camp solely with elementary and middle school students. This youth football program was in Prospect, Connecticut.
The truth of it is… elementary and middle school kids can run the Triple Option.
The real question is–can elementary and middle school coaches teach the Triple Option?
