The Double Flex Formation is the most utilized formation in the modern-day, Army-Navy Offense. This isn’t so much because of the Triple Option, but the Zone Option & Toss. When you don’t get four yards on a give to the B-Back, the Receiver crushes the C-gap defender and you get the ball away from the people stopping the dive from occurring. This formation is how you make the Flexbone Offense go.
