Quarterback aligns under center with his knuckles on the stomach of the center, and his other wrist interlocks with the dominant wrist. They spread their fingers and have 4 to 6 inches of separation between both hands.
Fullback (also known as B-Back) aligns behind the quarterback. His base is narrower than shoulder width with his dominant hand on the ground. The fullback’s depth from the quarterback is determined by how fast he can get into the ball when the quarterback points the ball on zone dive.
Slotback (also known as A-Back) aligns behind the tackle and should be able to touch the tackle with one of their hands. Their base is narrower than shoulder width, and their knuckles are in their knees.
Receivers align on the hashes with their inside foot up and their hands down. If they are facing press coverage, they will put their hands in front of their chest, and get ready to get off the potential jam.
Keep alignment and stance simple!
