Yesterday at our Triple Option Football Academy camp in Pennsylvania, my clients ran 240 plays in just 95 minutes with their first three offenses. Utilizing Paul Johnson’s Live Bullets Drill, we installed 50% of the Flexbone offense, by installing the Zone Dive and Follow.
Last season, Army averaged 22 Zone Dive/Follow plays per game, and Air Force averaged 25 Zone Dive plays during their late 2024 playoff run. Considering that the average high school game only has 48 offensive plays, this was 50% of the high school offense.
