Why the Triple Option Still Works After 53 Years of Service

The Triple Option was established in 1964.

Last year was the first time EVER that Army, Navy, and Air Force–all Triple Option schools–all won eight games in a season.

Last year was the first time in the Citadel’s 109-year history that they started the season 10-0.  The Citadel is a Triple Option school as well.

Georgia Tech won nine games last year too.
