The Flexbone Minimalist Movement

The Flexbone Minimalist Movement

The Flexbone minimalist movement: Navy and Army have played 11 games so far in 2019.  Their combined offense is THREE concepts.

  1. Zone Dive (run 127 times by Navy and Army).
  2. Triple Option (run 102 times by Navy and Army).
  3. Zone Option (run 102 times by Navy and Army).

The next most-utilized concept (#4) is Triple Pass which has been run 32 times by Navy and Army.  This concept is utilized 319% less than Zone Option.

Webster defines minimalism as a style or technique that is characterized by extreme spareness and simplicity.

Webster defines movement as tactical or strategic shifting of a military unit.

Navy and Army’s Flexbone is a minimalist movement.  Zone Dive, Triple Option, and Zone Option is a tactical, simplistic style.

Is this what you need to get your program to the next level?
