Triple Option versus Odd Stack Defense

The Odd Stack is one of the most common high school defenses.
Fortunately, when the Quarterback reads his way out, the Odd Stack becomes one of the most vulnerable defenses.
The rules on the Triple Option are the following:
Playside Receiver- Near Deep Defender
Playside A- #3
Playside Tackle- Veer (Outside UNLESS Ace call)
Playside Guard- Base to Ace
Center- Veer to Ace
Backside Guard/Tackle- Scoop
Backside A- Pitch
Backside Receiver- Cutoff
Quarterback- Veer #1, Pitch #2
B- Veer Path, Bend Behind Action Key
Here is how to run Triple versus the Odd Stack
Triple versus Odd Stack
The whole key to making this work is the Quarterback giving the ball to the B, UNLESS #2 blitzes through B-gap (EZ stunt) or #1 tackles the B-back.
This must be the most practiced aspect of the Triple Option by the Quarterback.
Once this happen, the Odd Stack is beyond vulnerable to the Triple Option.
