In running the Offense the We would:
- Find the FS.
- Find the number of LB’ers in the tackle box.
- See if they had an odd or even number of DLinemen.
- Align in a balanced Offense Set and see if the Defense lines up in a balanced defensive alignment. If they don’t we would attack the numbers.
If when they aligned balanced we would attack where we would have the Angles on blocks(especially on the PSLB’er). This is where, we would run the ball, to where the IB’er kicked from and the secondary is balanced. if aligned balanced and we don’t have angles we would look for personnel mismatches.
- Align in an unbalanced Set and see where the FS is aligned. In the box and nobody goes over to unbalanced we would attack the numbers. If they take someone over we would attack the side, they took him from.
- In attacking a triple stack look from a balanced set we would want to know, if the backers are “In” or “Out”. If,”In” go back to where they kicked the B’ers from or away from the secondary roll. Then get into heavy or Over Sets making them declare their backers or coverage.
