Utilize Your Small Line to Win Big

#1 Alabama’s Offensive Tackles average 310 pounds.

In 2018, Army had their first 11-win season in school history.

They were nationally ranked for the first time since 1996.

Army scored 70 points in their bowl game versus Houston.  This set the all time national bowl record for points in a game.

Army did all this with 267-pound Offensive Tackles and the Triple Option Offense.

Here’s what Army does with their Triple Option Offense:

If the Defense aligns with a 2-technique or wider, you cancel him from ever making the tackle–with the Triple Option.

The Quarterback reads Defensive Linemen and always makes them wrong in whatever they decide to do.

When Triple Option / Midline Triple Option is run to the right, the defenders in yellow are cancelled by the Quarterback and cannot make the tackle:

Dr. Lou Cella educates his clients on to do this the right way the first time with the Triple Option Football Academy.

In 2016, Pamlico County (NC) won two (2) games and scored 108 points.

In 2017, after hosting a Triple Option Football Academy Camp with Dr. Cella, Pamlico County won nine (9) games and made it to the North Carolina Class 1A State Quarterfinals–all while scoring 508 points.

In 2018, Pamlico County went to the North Carolina Class 1A State Championship Game with 31 players on the team, 12 of which were freshmen.  They scored 638 points and averaged 43 points/game.  Four days after the game, Torrey was named Head Football Coach at New Bern High School (NC), a 4A school.

“The Triple Option Academy was huge for us as a program here at Pamlico County High School. Teams that thrive at the 1A level run system based offenses and that’s what the Triple Option Academy gave us. Dr. Cella came out and worked with my players and myself.  Dr. Cella helped put the system in place for us while we were in our spring football period. Offensively we went from scoring a total of 108 points in 2016 to scoring 508 points in 2017. The Triple Option Academy played a huge role in points scored for us. I am super excited to see what the future has in store for us in the second season of running this new offense.”

— Torrey Nowell, Head Football Coach, after his 2017 season.
